With our headquarters just north of Baltimore, MD we are strategically positioned to deliver lumber around the Mid-Atlantic and up and down the US east coast from Florida to Maine. With ready access to I-70 we can deliver into the Midwest with ease.
J. Gibson McIlvain maintains facilities on the West Coast in Northern and Southern California where we can deliver to the Rockies, and up and down the West Coast as needed. We stock these California locations with a variety of lumber and are always replenishing from our East coast faculties and sometimes direct from abroad for exotic lumber.
Our shipping estimates are subject to change (sometimes for the better) depending on whether a shipment is already scheduled in your area. When a container heading to the region is filled, the shipment will depart. Half and full container orders will then depart much faster. Otherwise, common carrier costs may be quoted.
J. Gibson McIlvain also delivers to the Caribbean islands regularly either directly or by coordinating with the freight forwarder of your choice. We are well versed in the eccentricities of island shipping including local taxes and customs regulations to ensure your shipment gets to you quickly and economically. We routinely deliver to the US Virgin islands and the Bahamas within a week’s time.
We will also deliver to Alaska and the Hawaiian islands using freight forwarder services on the west coast.
